Robert Halvorsen, actor, writer, and playwright, studied at San Diego State College (now, SDSU).
In 1954, he was a graduate student at SDSC. Concurrently that November, he won the judge's award for his play Come Brush My Hair at the Little Theater League’s annual one-act play festival, and assisted E. Kingsley Povemire with his production, Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates.
