SDJT's Real-Life "Music Man" Don Ward

Don and Bonnie Honors

All of us at San Diego Junior Theatre are deeply saddened to note of the passing of Don Ward, a friend and mentor to thousands of Junior Theatre families. As Junior Theatre’s real-life “Music Man,” Don leaves an amazing legacy. During his 15 years of leadership, he and his wife Bonnie directed and choreographed scores of Junior Theatre productions and guided the growth of the organization from a small program at the Old Globe Theatre to a nationally recognized, multi-decade arts education institution.
The Ward Family has graciously designated San Diego Junior Theatre as a recipient for tribute donations. Click here to make a donation in Don Ward’s name.
San Diego Junior Theatre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. News of your donation will be passed on to the Ward Family.
