Tony Houck is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He is a local music director and has been nominated for Critic’s Circle Awards for bare: a pop opera, and Oklahoma. He is also an award winning actor in San Diego. He works at almost every theatre around town either playing auditions or playing in the show. He also works at USD accompanying their theatre class.

Teacher Feature: Bridget Cavaiola

Bridget Cavaiola is a San Diego based educator, improviser, and facilitator and has been performing and teaching improv theater, acting and communication strategies to adults and children since 2005. She is currently a performer and teacher with Finest City Improv. She is the former Education Director and performer for the Baltimore Improv Group in Baltimore, MD for over 12 years. She was a high school English and Theater teacher for 7 year and has extensive training in inclusion, professional development, and arts integration. She holds a masters degree in Communicating in Contemporary Cultures and teaches adjunct at the college level.  Bridget loves the “yes, and” spirit of theater and watching her students find their own passion for her favorite art form.

Teacher Feature: Sarah Siegel

Sarah Siegel holds a degree in theatre from San Diego State University. She began her theatre career in the San Francisco area performing and directing for several years before moving to New York City where she started two theatre companies and continued her work in both theatre and film. While in New York City she continued her training studying under Milan Stitt and Lanford Wilson at the Circle Repertory Company and worked as a private audition coach and acting instructor helping her students obtain roles on both stage and screen.  In San Diego, Sarah has had the joy of working as a teaching artist teaching acting and directing at JT since 2002 as well as working for The Fritz Theatre and Stu Segall Productions.

Teacher Feature: Lettie S. De Anda

Lettie S. De Anda teaches all things theatre. She has a Masters in theatre and enjoys directing and acting.  Lettie has been teaching for about 20 years and her passion is working with students of all ages to help them attain self confidence, and teach them how to harness their own creativity. Lettie’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the idea that all students can benefit and gain many skills from acting classes.

Teacher Feature: Jasmin Haddad

Jasmin Haddad is a recent graduate of the University of San Diego where she earned a dual degree in Neuroscience and Theatre. She has been teaching children of all ages in many aspects of theatre for the past two years. She currently works as an actor in the San Diego area and hopes to continue to bring the art of theatre to many more students in the future.
