Biography

Sarah Kaplan

Sarah Kaplan is a San Diego Junior Theatre alum who found her love for theatre arts at the Casa del Prado Theatre starting at age five. She is currently a student at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Theatre and Education with a minor in Dance. Sarah has taught dance at Tap Fever Studios and Tamlyn Shusterman’s Dance Studio, specializing in tap. In addition to acting on stages in both San Diego and New York, Sarah is a singer-songwriter with music streaming on all platforms and hopes to compose for original musicals in the future! She is incredibly excited to contribute to the empowering SDJT community that inspired the person and performer she is today. Sarah is committed to continuing SDJT’s legacy of inclusive, engaging and inspiring theatre-making for San Diego’s youth.
