Charlotte's Web
When young Fern Arable finds out one of the newborn pigs at her family farm is set to be killed, she persuades her family to let her keep him, and decides to name him Wilbur. But then Pa decides Wilbur should be sold to the Zuckermans, and sends him off to a new farm, where his life comes into danger once again. Life at the Zuckerman Farm is anything but ordinary.
Wilbur meets Charlotte, a scholarly spider who likes to spell out words in her web, and a whole group of farm animals on a dangerous and exciting adventure in this endearing tale that proves, as Wilbur says, “Friendship is one of the most important things in the world.” Based on the children’s classic Charlotte’s Web, by E.B. White.
Recommended for all ages. ASL-Interpreted performance, 2pm Saturday, July 11, 2015.
