One-Act Play Tournament
Five one-act plays were presented in competition on Saturday, June 16, 1951 at the Old Globe Theatre. The students chose, cast, directed, acted and produced each, under the supervision of Junior Theater Wing Summer Workshop. Judges were C.C. Cunningham (SDSC speech arts faculty), Maureen Blanck, Earl Grant, Beth Masterson (Junior Theater Wing director), and Ralph Wendell Hastings (San Diego Union theatre critic).
