Embody favorite animal characters while developing performance skills. Each class explores a new nature-inspired story, bringing beloved characters and settings to life in a fun, imaginative space.

* For students ages 4 and up. Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Calling all junior detectives! In this mystery-themed acting class, dive into the world of suspects, sleuths, and secret clues. Develop character work and storytelling skills while creating and performing scenes inspired by classic “whodunit” stories. Practice building suspense, delivering surprise twists, and using your actor’s tools to keep the audience guessing until the very end. Whether playing the quirky detective, the cunning culprit, or the unsuspecting witness, get ready to crack the case!

Please note that this class will not meet on January 20 (MLK Day) or February 17th (Presidents' Day).

Grades 9-12

Whether you’re an experienced actor or have always wanted to get on stage, this skill-building offering is your opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform in a one-act play! Classes will be spent auditioning, rehearsing, developing characters, and strengthening acting technique. The class will culminate in a shared performance of a short play for friends and family. Please note: There will be a video audition requirement prior to the start of this class, which will determine casting. Casting decisions are at the sole discretion of the Teaching Artist. The title of the play is TBD contingent upon enrollment numbers. Since class serves as rehearsal time, enrollment in this class is a commitment to regular attendance.
