Denise Blase is JT’s newest voice teacher. She is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, dancer, and actress having over 30 years of experience in the performing arts. She received her vocal training at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Cornish College of the Arts. She has a BA in Dance and Music as Sacred Tradition from Humboldt State University. Denise has performed in over 30 musicals throughout Northern California and was a recipient of a Bay Area Shelley Award for Best Actress in 42nd Street. She teaches voice and piano lessons in her home studio, and along with her husband Kyle, teaches and develops music curriculum for their children’s music education program, California Music Works.
Denise is currently teaching Music Makers on Saturday morning, and this Winter she is teaching many more classes on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please join me in welcoming Denise to the San Diego Junior Theatre family!
