Dorothy Hicks

Dorothy Hicks attended San Diego State College (now SDSU), studying theatre arts under E. Kingsley Povenmire and Robert Ford Corrigan.

As an actor, she appeared in Doctor Knock (1951) at SDSC, directed by Povenmire, and in Aztec Theater Guild’s She Stoops to Conquer (1951), by Oliver Goldsmith.

For San Diego Junior Theatre, Hicks directed The Thursday Murders, and Radio Rescue (1953).
