Our Theatres
San Diego Junior Theatres performances take place on two stages at the historic Casa
del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park, San Diego; and at the La Jolla YMCA Firehouse Theatre
in La Jolla. The theatres are fully accessible to all of our patrons, and include barrier-free access with ramps.
Special Accommodations
Wheelchair seating may be reserved up to 24 hours prior to each performance. After such time, remaining seats
in this area are offered to the general public.
ASL Interpretation
Each of our Balboa Park shows has one American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance. Special ASL-accessible seating
is available. For more information on accommodations for people with disabilities, please call our Box Office at

How do I get to Casa del Prado Theatre?
Casa del Prado Theatre is located at 1600 Village Place, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 92101 just North of
the Prado in Balboa Park, at the corner of Village Place and Old Globe Way. Patrons may be dropped off
and picked up in front of the theatre. Nearby parking with ample parking spaces for disabled persons is available in two lots just East of the
Spanish Village Art Center, located at Village Place and Park Boulevard. Limited street parking is located along
Village Place. We suggest you allow at least one hour for parking on the weekends.

How do I get to the La Jolla YMCA Firehouse in La Jolla?
The theatre is located at 7877 Herschel Avenue, La Jolla, CA 92037 in the village of La Jolla. There is street parking near the
theatre.

Theatre Rules
Strollers are not allowed inside the theatre, but may be parked in the lobby.
Note that there is no eating, drinking, smoking or flash photography permitted in the theatre. Performances may NOT
be photographed or recorded in any manner, including video, audio or still photography.
In consideration of performers and fellow audience members alike, we ask that any pagers or cell phones be turned off
during performances. Thank you.
