Trish Buttrill

Trish Buttrill was involved in Junior Theatre from 1968 to 1974. She received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from UCLA, and her M.F.A. in Acting, from UCLA as well. Trish has extensive performance experience including a role at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego where she received the Globe\’s Atlas Award for her performance in \”La Ronde\”. She also received numerous acting awards at UCLA, and worked for a time as a voice-over actress. She can be heard as the voice of Susan B. Anthony at Disney\’s EPCOT Center. She was employed for several years as a script analyst in the film industry. Tricia finally found her niche as a high school drama teacher. She was San Jose Unified School District\’s 2001/2002 Teacher of the Year, and also received the 2001 Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce\’s \”Outstanding Educator of Silicon Valley\” as part of their \”Legends and Leaders\” series. Trish received an IDEA award from the Anti-Defamation League for her work in teaching tolerance at the school site. Trish teaches and directs in San Jose, California.
