Mona Mansour

Mona is a playwright who lives in New York City. Her plays include Me and the S.L.A. and Girls Gone Scouting (with Andrea Berloff), which was part of New Work Now at the Public Theater, as well as the NY Fringe Festival. Girls Gone Scouting is headed to off-Broadway in fall 2008. Mona was recently chosen as “One of 50 to Watch” by the Dramatists Guild. Television credits include produced episodes of Showtime’s Dead Like Me and the CBS show Queens Supreme. She curated, with Lisa Kron, a piece for gay, lesbian, transgender and questioning youth called ‘Nuff Said, which was performed at Dance Theater Workshop in NYC. Excerpts from Others was performed in May 2006 at NYC’s Flea Theater, directed by Sharon Lennon. In her spare time, she teaches improv and writing classes to adults over 60 in NYC.
