Michael Luisi is the President of WWE Studios, a position he has held since September 2011. WWE Studios creates a diversified mix of filmed entertainment for all audiences by means of strategic distribution, production and acquisition partnerships with global entertainment companies such as Twentieth Century Fox, Lionsgate, Blumhouse Productions, ABC Family, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Anchor Bay Films and Focus Features. Mr. Luisi is responsible for overseeing all film development, production, acquisitions and marketing for the studio, as well as the studio’s worldwide strategy and business operations. WWE Studios has produced and acquired its greatest numbers of films under Mr. Luisi’s leadership, and he has produced or executive produced over thirty motion pictures including Oculus, the psychological horror film starring Katee Sackhoff and Karen Gillan, The Call starring Halle Berry and directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist), which took in over $68 million dollars at global box-office, Road to Paloma directed by and starring Jason Momoa (“Game of Thrones”), Dead Man Down starring Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace and directed by Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), two installments of The Marine franchise, and three animated co-productions with Warner Bros. Animation, Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery (and its upcoming sequel) and The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown. Future film releases from WWE Studios include the Universal Pictures release Incarnate starring Aaron Eckhart and featuring WWE Superstar Mark Henry.
