Justine Valdez

Justine Valdez began her Junior Theatre experience at the age of nine through summer camps and classes. Three years later, she appeared in her first show with Junior Theatre in their original cast of Sleeping Beauty as Cinderella.rnJustine has been a part of over 10 productions with Junior Theatre. Some of her favorites include Bye Bye Birdie, Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Crazy For You and The World Goes Round.rnWhile doing productions with Junior Theatre, Justine has performed all throughout the San Diego community including the Coronado School of Arts, San Diego Repertory Theatre, The Old Globe, The Coronado Playhouse, Young Audiences of San Diego, Southwestern College and at professional sporting events as a solo performer singing the National Anthem. Much of her career over the past nine years has been working extremely close with director Bill Virchis and Teatro Mascara Magica.rnJustine currently lives Los Angeles and in May 2005, she graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts- Hollywood. Since then, she is now a part of the West Coast Ensemble theatre company as one of their youngest members. Justine also works at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the Education Department and the other half of her time is spent at Universal Studios- Hollywood as a Studio Guide, where she gives tours on Universal\’s movie studio lot to hundreds of guests weekly. When Justine isn\''t at the museum or giving tours, she is writing and creating her one woman show with the words and songs of Liza Minnelli called JUST…Like Liza.
