Biography

Betty Arnold King

Betty Arnold King is a San Diego native who started her theater training at San Diego Junior Theatre under the auspices of Don and Bonnie Ward. She performed and worked at Starlight prior to attending USC as a Fine Arts Major and Dance Minor. She graduated with a BS in Education from USC in 1981 and MA in Education from SDSU in 1990.

She helped start C-MENT (Christian Musical Enrichment Theatre) at Penasquitos Lutheran Church and has been the Director and Choreographer since 2002. She has also been an assistant director and choreographer at BBYT as well as at Westview High School.

Betty has been blessed with the opportunity of combining her love of theatre with teaching children and, as a mother of three daughters, feels strongly that all children should be taught to sing and dance.
